The United Way of Tennessee announced plans for the first United Way license plate in the United States.  The plates will bear the slogan “Live United” and the United Way logo.  Proceeds from the sale of the license plates will benefit all the United Way organizations across Tennessee.  But the plate is not a done deal just yet.  A pre-sale of the license plates is underway.  One-thousand plates must be purchased for the plate to go into production.  At that time, they will be available for purchase at all county clerk offices.  For information on the plate, or to pre-order, visit: http://www.UnitedWayLicensePlate.com or the United Ways of Tennessee website: http://www.uwtn.org.
