United Way
strengthens communities by identifying and tacking the underlying causes of
the financial hardship facing today's families. Together, we can help
empower lower-income individuals and families with the tools and skills
necessary to maximize their income, build savings and gain assets - and
remain financially stable.
Helping people in
times of need and crisis to meet basic life necessities such as food,
clothing, shelter, medications, and support is a basic component of our
community's committment to caring. United Way ensures that this safety
net is strong and effective.

strengthening families, so they achieve greater self-sufficiency. We
want families to develop to fullest potential, live safe and healthy lives,
